Chapman Monument

The William Chapman Monument stands in the Point de Bute Methodist cemetery to commemorate William Chapman, who immigrated to the area in 1774 from Yorkshire, England. Fundy Stonecraft was asked to repoint the monument. An inspection showed a ~2 degree lean and broken mortar joints in the top four courses due to persistant water ingress.

My recommendation was to rebuild the monument with a level base, replace the coping stone with one that overhangs the top course, lightly clean the stones, and rebuild the monument.
